When I first saw this image with the subject line “Radical new propulsion system could render helicopters obsolete” over at dvice.com it reminded me of a flying lawnmore.
Either that or one of those golfball pickup devices you see at the driving range.
But instead it’s really a new propulsion system that is apparently nearly silent and can function similar to a helicopter in flight characterstics without the huge spinning blades.
